The course

Where it goes multi-loop · 7 aid stations

Course line from the race's own GPX. Source file.

Two full laps of the 25K loop ("the 50k doubles the 25k experience with two full laps of the 25k loop" - swvarunning.com). loop_distance_miles uses the single lap's chart mile (15.8); the race's own chart finish for 50k is 31.1 mi, 0.5 mi under a literal double of 15.8 (31.6) - a small, unremarked rounding gap, not flagged as a conflict. elevation_gain_ft/loss_ft are 2x the single-lap GPX figures, assuming the two laps are elevation-identical as described.

The race

What this one is

A trail endurance event on and around High Knob near Norton, Virginia, using established trails and forest roads on City of Norton and U.S. Forest Service land, including Flag Rock Area Trails and the Jefferson National Forest across Wise and Scott counties. Distances: 25K, 50K, 100K and 100 Mile.

Inaugural (first) edition ran June 13-14, 2026 as a first-year, brand-new race ("First Year Sign-Up" on the UltraSignup listing).

Leave blank if it is not about one particular stop.

Optional. Something like “Cal Street, mile 62 to 78”.

Write it the way you would say it to someone at the start line.
