No official GPX on file yet. These are the aid station coordinates, not the trail. Have the GPX? Send us the link.

Combines the full 50-mile backcountry loop with a partial second pass of the low trail system (per swvarunning.com: "combining the full 50-mile backcountry loop with one additional 25k lap"). CONFLICT: the aid-station chart does not support a full 25k lap for the second segment - the 100k finishes at chart mile 62.2, only 12.2 mi past the mile-50 station, versus the 15.8 mi a full second 25k lap would add (a 3.6 mi gap). Recorded as-is; not resolved. Because the sub-loop composition is non-uniform (like Javelina's multi_loop gap), loop_count/loop_distance_miles and elevation_gain_ft/loss_ft are left null rather than guessed; distance_miles, high_point_ft and low_point_ft come from the aid-station chart and from the 50-mile-loop GPX (which the 100k's first half necessarily covers) respectively. No dedicated official GPX exists for the 100k as a whole, so gpx_source_url is left null - see _meta.notes.

The race

What this one is

A trail endurance event on and around High Knob near Norton, Virginia, using established trails and forest roads on City of Norton and U.S. Forest Service land, including Flag Rock Area Trails and the Jefferson National Forest across Wise and Scott counties. Distances: 25K, 50K, 100K and 100 Mile.

Inaugural (first) edition ran June 13-14, 2026 as a first-year, brand-new race ("First Year Sign-Up" on the UltraSignup listing).
