A non-competitive, night-time out-and-back over the southern half of the 100-mile course: Nordic Trailhead south to Rice Lake and back. Explicitly designed to let a runner pace or accompany a 100-mile runner over the race's final, hardest stretch; many Fun Run entrants deliberately start when 'their' 100-miler comes through Nordic rather than at a fixed clock time.
This course is not separately charted by the race; its stations and mileage are the second half (mile 63.9 to 100.5) of the official 100-mile chart, re-zeroed to start at 0.0 (inferred arithmetic, e.g. Rice Lake at 82.2 - 63.9 = 18.3 mi for this course). The 36.6 mi total from that arithmetic is close to, but not identical to, the race's own '38 mile' branding and to the GPX-measured 36.42 mi -- none of the three figures reconcile exactly, and none is treated as authoritative over the others.
A 100-mile (with 100K, 50K and 38-mile companion distances) trail race entirely on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail and connecting trails in the Kettle Moraine State Forest's Southern Unit, run as two out-and-back sections from the Nordic Trailhead near Whitewater/La Grange, Wisconsin. A Western States 100 qualifier and part of the Midwest Grand Slam of Ultra-running.
Started in 1996 by Kevin and Kris Setnes, who race-directed for 6 years. Tim "Timo" Yanacheck and Jason Dorgan then co-RD'd until 2018. Michele Hartwig of Ornery Mule Racing has directed the race since. The Wisconsin DNR asked the race to stop routing through the Emma Carlin trailhead starting in 2020, and the course has been adjusted since (a shooting-range-adjacent McMiller Sports Center section and an Eagle Horse Trail sandy section were both new as of the 2021 running).

Nobody sees it until we have read it. No account, no sign-in.
This changes nothing on the page on its own. Somebody checks it against the race first.
We want the address of the file the race publishes, not the file. We download it from there so the page can say where the line came from.
We read every one of these and we write back. Every fact here carries the source it came from, and the way a wrong one gets fixed is a person checking it against what you tell us.
NavRun builds your pacing from your own training, then turns it into a plan your crew can follow: when to leave and where to park.
