The classic trail half marathon on Mt. Hood: a loop starting and finishing at the Mt. Hood Meadows main lodge, through subalpine forest and wildflower meadows, with 2 miles on the Timberline Trail and a pass by Umbrella Falls.

The course is 99% dirt singletrack with one significant climb, mixed with fast descents and rolling hills, and several small stream crossings and meadow springs.

Wy’east Trailfest is a weekend of mountain trail running at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Area on Mt. Hood, Oregon. Saturday has the 50 Miler, 50K, 28K and 14K, which reach 8000 feet on the volcano. Sunday has the Half Marathon, the 8K (5 miler) and a Kids Race. Wy’east is the native ancestral name for Mt. Hood.
