The same two-lap, 25-mile-loop course as the day 50 mile, but starting at 7:00 pm Saturday as its own night race with its own, shorter cutoff.
Tuscazoar Endurance Race is run entirely at Camp Tuscazoar, a Boy Scout camp in the hills above the Tuscarawas River in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, on a 25-mile loop that is 95% trail and, in the race's own words, 'hard to find in Ohio.' Runners choose 100, 75, 50 or 25 miles by repeating the same loop, staying on camp property for most of the route with one 5.5-mile section on private land. The 50 and 25 mile distances each have a 7:00 p.m. night-start option as well as the standard daytime start.
The race began in 2019 as a 100-mile and 50-mile event, its first edition held August 31, 2019 at Camp Tuscazoar, a camp whose own history dates to the 1920s. A 75-mile distance was added later -- the race's own results archive shows no 75-mile finishers before 2022 -- and a 25-mile option and 7:00 p.m. night starts for the 50 and 25 mile races were added since. The course was changed in 2024 because of trail construction, and the race has run that same course every year since.
