Last-person-standing rucking race, separate from the running race. One 2.3-mile trail loop every hour, on the hour, from 8 AM, carrying a ruck at the posted minimum core weight. Same night road section and same finish rule as the Run Event.
Day loop on local trails at Usery Mountain Regional Park, then an out-and-back on the road from 8 PM to 8 AM. The race publishes no elevation for the ruck loop and no night loop length. The 260 ft / 179 ft per loop figures on the Big's registry are listed for the event, and the registry does not say they apply to the shorter ruck loop. Loop length is not settled: UltraSignup says 2.3 miles, the race site 2.5, the registry 2.25 and 2.5.
A backyard ultra at Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa, Arizona, with a running race and a separate rucking race. Everyone starts a loop every hour, on the hour, from 8 AM, and the day loop is on trail. At 8 PM the loop moves to the road, and at 8 AM it returns to the trail. There is also a Backyard 24 that stops at 24 hours. Put on by Kaniksu Ultras, a nonprofit supporting the SERE community; entrants can fundraise instead of paying.
