One loop of 100.2 miles, run counterclockwise in 2026, out of the Group Camp at Pickett CCC Memorial State Park and back to it. The loop crosses Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area, Daniel Boone National Forest, Pickett State Park, Scott State Forest and Pickett State Forest, and takes runners over the state line into Kentucky before bringing them home to Tennessee. About 14,500 feet of climbing, 34 hours to do it in, and finishing it is also a qualifying race for the 2027 Western States Endurance Race.
Runners should expect technical sections with roots, large rocks, boulder scrambling and stretches of narrow, uneven, rutted trail. Some of the course follows bluff ridgelines with unprotected cliff edges just off the trail. Parts of it are remote backcountry that see little foot traffic, so the trail may be less defined than elsewhere, and there are numerous creek crossings to ford. About 13 miles are gravel road and less than a mile is pavement, with the longest gravel stretch running about 5.7 miles. A few sections are multi-use trail shared with horseback riders. The start and finish are in the Central time zone and the majority of the course is in the Eastern one, and every published time is Central. Trekking poles are permitted.
The No Business 100 is one loop of a hundred miles through the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area, starting and finishing at the Group Camp in Pickett CCC Memorial State Park north of Jamestown, Tennessee. The loop crosses the state line into Kentucky and back on some of the oldest trails in the southeast. Along the way runners pass under towering sandstone arches and rockhouses, past overlooks and waterfalls, and through abandoned farms and homesteads including the No Business settlement the race is named for. The direction reverses every year, and runners who finish it both ways get a second buckle for it.
The race began in 2017 and is put on by Ultranaut Running, a grass-roots trail running organization out of Knoxville, Tennessee. 2026 is the tenth running. From the start the course has reversed direction each year, counterclockwise in even years and clockwise in odd, and the race gives a Double Buckle to runners who have completed it in both directions.

These are other people's work and we link straight to them. Watching costs nothing and needs no account. More of them: every race we hold, on film.
Nobody sees it until we have read it. No account, no sign-in.
This changes nothing on the page on its own. Somebody checks it against the race first.
Somebody watches it before it goes anywhere near this page. What we are after is footage of this course, on the ground. If it would be just as true of any other race, it is not this.
We want the address of the file the race publishes, not the file. We download it from there so the page can say where the line came from.
We read every one of these and we write back. Every fact here carries the source it came from, and the way a wrong one gets fixed is a person checking it against what you tell us.
NavRun builds your pacing from your own training, then turns it into a plan your crew can follow: when to leave and where to park.
