Runners do the south loop (out to Tucker Tower and back) and the north loop three times, then finish with one more south loop.

The trails range from simple and flat to moderately difficult sections with rocks and roots.

What this one is

The Lake Murray Endurance Run is held every year in late October at Lake Murray State Park near Ardmore, Oklahoma, with races of 100 miles, 100K, 50K, 25K and 5 miles, all starting and finishing at Tipps Point. Lake Murray is Oklahoma's first and largest state park, 12,500 acres of forested rolling hills with over 30 miles of trail. The trails range from simple and flat to moderately difficult sections with rocks and roots. It is a cupless race, with a buckle for 100 mile and 100K finishers.

Crew rules
Family and friends are welcome at the start/finish area and the Buzzards Roost aid station. Crew access is allowed at Tucker Tower when the tower and nature center are open, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Drivers who park elsewhere in the park pay the park's parking fees there. blazetrails.com
Pacer rules
Pacers may join at mile 53 or after. Pacer exchange points are the start/finish and Buzzards Roost only; pacers arranging to meet a runner at Buzzards Roost need their own ride there, because parking is limited. Runners aged 65 and above may have a pacer after completing 50K. Pacers complete the online form by the Thursday before the race and check in at the start/finish to pick up a pacer bib. blazetrails.com
Drop bag rules
Drop bags are allowed at the start/finish and at Buzzards Roost. Drop bags for Buzzards Roost go to the start/finish packet pick up on Friday by 6:30 p.m. Bags should be a reasonable size and weight (typically shoebox size), not fragile, not leaky, and marked with name, bib number and distance. Bags are returned to the start/finish when the aid station shuts down on Sunday. blazetrails.com
Cutoff philosophy
Cutoff times have been set to ensure your safety while giving you every opportunity to succeed and complete the distance. Making the early cutoffs does not ensure you will finish the race in time. However, if you hit a low point in your run and recover, we hope this allows you to make up the time and finish. blazetrails.com
