16th Annual Hawk Hundred
Hawk Hundred - 50 Mile · 50M
Registration open
Registration open as of research date (Aug 2026), closing Fri Sep 4, 2026 11:59 PM CT per UltraSignup. hawkhundred.com's own footer and Travel page independently display "September 6-7, 2026" (a Sunday-Monday pairing that does not match the site's own "Saturday RACE DAY!" framing) while the homepage hero, Calendar page body, UltraSignup registration page and the Trail Hawks club race page all independently agree on Saturday-Sunday September 12-13, 2026. September 6, 2026 is a Sunday, not a Saturday, so the footer figure is treated as a stale/unfixed template value and September 12-13 is used throughout this file. See _meta.notes.

Course line from the race's own GPX. Source file.

Multi-loop trail race on the Clinton Lake North Shore Trails: a 25-mile lap (blue, red and white blazed singletrack, plus the grass Bunker Hill/Goodwin Loop off West Park Road) repeated from a single Start/Finish.

The race

What this one is

A multi-loop trail race at Clinton Lake State Park in Lawrence, Kansas, presented by the Lawrence Trail Hawks. Offers 100-mile, 50-mile and marathon distances, all run on repeats of the same 25-mile North Shore Trails loop from one Start/Finish.

Run annually since 2011; the 2026 edition is the race's 16th running. A 75-mile option offered in at least 2025 is not offered in 2026 (2026 UltraSignup and club pages list only 100 Mile, 50 Mile and Marathon).
