Two 15.5 mile loops from the Mountain Top Campground at ACE Adventure Resort, on the same loop the 100K runs four times. Water and drink mix at mile 5.5 and mile 10 of each loop, a full aid station at the start/finish, and everything else carried. The cutoff is 12 hours, at 7:00pm Saturday.
Twice round a 15.5 mile loop out of the Mountain Top Campground at ACE Adventure Resort, dropping off the rim into New River Gorge National Park and climbing back each lap. The race puts a loop at 2,400 feet of climb and the same again of descent, and the elevation profile it prints in its own information packet runs between 1,058 and 2,023 feet. The loop follows Rush Run and Arbuckle Creek past waterfalls and along the bank of the New River, and crosses Arbuckle Creek on the rocks. The whole course is on designated trails and roads, with some dirt and paved road sections.
The Falling Water Ultras run four 15.5 mile loops out of the Mountain Top Campground at ACE Adventure Resort, dropping off the rim into New River Gorge National Park and climbing back. Each loop follows Rush Run and Arbuckle Creek past waterfalls, runs a stretch along the bank of the New River, and crosses Arbuckle Creek on the rocks. Runners take the 100K solo, the 50K solo, or the 100K as a two or four person relay. Everything eaten out on the loop is carried: there is water and drink mix twice a lap and nothing else until the start and finish comes round again. Entry fees fund Adventure Appalachia, the nonprofit the race company exists to pay for.
Rim to River Endurance Co. put on the first Falling Water Ultras in 2023 as a 100K, and added a solo 50K in 2024. The 100K field has grown every year it has been run: 63 finishers in 2023, 68 in 2024, 73 in 2025 and 104 in 2026. It is the spring race of the company's New River Gorge Trifecta, run alongside the Cabin Fever 50K in winter and the Rim to River 100 in autumn.

These are other people's work and we link straight to them. Watching costs nothing and needs no account. More of them: every race we hold, on film.
Nobody sees it until we have read it. No account, no sign-in.
This changes nothing on the page on its own. Somebody checks it against the race first.
Somebody watches it before it goes anywhere near this page. What we are after is footage of this course, on the ground. If it would be just as true of any other race, it is not this.
We want the address of the file the race publishes, not the file. We download it from there so the page can say where the line came from.
We read every one of these and we write back. Every fact here carries the source it came from, and the way a wrong one gets fixed is a person checking it against what you tell us.
