No official GPX on file yet. These are the aid station coordinates, not the trail. Have the GPX? Send us the link.

A point-to-point 100-miler along the Wyoming Range National Recreation Trail from Middle Piney Lake to the Box Y Ranch, with three cutoffs and aid stations about ten miles apart.

The Wyoming Range National Recreation Trail is faint or missing in places, mostly above timberline, and runners follow pin flags and the course GPX. Aid stations are about 10 miles apart, there are many stream crossings, and the race is in grizzly country, so bear spray is required.

Crew rules
One small crew and one car per runner, with a race-issued parking pass displayed on the dash. Crews may help a runner only inside an aid station. Drive a high clearance 4WD vehicle and stay at or under 30 mph. Crews must report to the Box Y before visiting Greys River or Grizzly Basin and collect a special parking pass. everlongendurance.com
Pacer rules
Pacers may join only at Menace Falls, McDougal Gap, Blind Bull, Greys River or Grizzly Basin. A pacer who joins at Grizzly Basin stays to the finish. One pacer at a time, wearing a pacer bib, carrying the mandatory gear. Pacers may not carry anything for their runner outside an aid station and may not lead. everlongendurance.com
Drop bag rules
One drop bag per station, delivered at Thursday check-in at the Box Y Ranch, for Box Canyon, Roaring Fork Lakes, Menace Falls, McDougal Gap, Blind Bull, Deadman, Grizzly Basin, Strawberry Creek and the Finish. Small duffel size, two or three pounds. everlongendurance.com
Cutoff philosophy
The race has three cutoffs and the director's stated hope is that every starter finishes. A runner who finishes after the 48-hour cutoff receives an unofficial finisher buckle. everlongendurance.com

What it looks like out there

Somebody has been out there with a camera the tables say the climb is long. these say what long feels like.

One person has been out there with a camera or a microphone.

These are other people's work and we link straight to them. Watching costs nothing and needs no account. More of them: every race we hold, on film.

Ran this race? Tell the next runner what you know.

Nobody sees it until we have read it. No account, no sign-in.

Leave blank if it applies to the whole race.

Leave blank if it is not about one particular stop.

Optional. Something like “Cal Street, mile 62 to 78”.

Write it the way you would say it to someone at the start line.

Optional, and it decides nothing. It only tells the next runner where this is coming from.

This changes nothing on the page on its own. Somebody checks it against the race first.

Ultras change. We will tell you when this one does.

Cutoffs move, races get postponed, lotteries open and close. We read the race's own sources and record where every fact came from. Put your email in and we will send you what changed, and where we read it.

No account, and nothing to cancel.

What happens to your email. Nothing else. I do not sell it, and I will not send you anything except this race changing. One click gets you out.

I keep this catalog because the information is scattered and hard to trust. Telling you when it moves is the same job.
