A remote, rugged 50K from Bertram Creek Regional Park to Naramata, with technical singletrack, historic railway sections, remote canyons and sustained climbing.

Some years there are running streams on course. Do not rely on them as your hydration source. Runners should think in terms of being stuck: a sprained ankle, illness or weather can create serious risk, including hypothermia.

What this one is

A rugged point-to-point 50K through British Columbia's Okanagan. It starts at Bertram Creek Regional Park in Kelowna and finishes at Manitou Park in Naramata, linking technical singletrack, historic railways and remote canyons. Runners are expected to be self-sufficient through the most remote sections.

One drop bag, at Aid Station #2. Drop bags are dropped off on race morning at Bertram Creek, in the designated U-Haul/tarp area. Keep bags to approximately shoe-bag / shoebox size and clearly label them with your name and bib number. Bags are transported to the finish and runners collect them there. pacetrailruns.com
