The race

What this one is

A 24-hour run and walk in Raleigh that raises money for Healing Transitions, a recovery program for people struggling with addiction. The event is an official timed ultra with distance, time and relay options, and anyone can come for a few miles. At 5:00 PM on race day everyone runs or walks an hour in remembrance of those lost to addiction.

The run was held for 7 years at Oakwood Cemetery and grew until it needed a larger venue. In 2026 it moves to Lakeside Retreats for its 9th annual running. It has raised over $1,000,000 for Healing Transitions.
