It's an urban route designed to limit turns, but navigation and awareness are necessary. Turns are marked with neon tape; don't expect signs. Download the GPX to a phone map app and a watch if you can. Pocket-sized turn cards are provided at check-in.

The race

What this one is

A supported run through Biloxi and Ocean Springs, Mississippi, past the Biloxi Lighthouse, along the beach boardwalk and over the bridge to downtown Ocean Springs, Front and East Beaches, and Gulf Islands National Seashore. It starts and finishes at Altered Reality Brewing in downtown Biloxi, with a finishers' party there. It is an urban route with well-stocked stations rather than a water stop each mile. There is a 50K and a Half-Marathon.
