Free, and always will be. NavRun makes money from race-day planning for runners who want it, never from this.

Recorded 2026.
The whole course is on forest service road, but the race says it is not a road run: there is a lot of climbing and the area is remote. The roads are not closed to vehicles. Traditionally, temperatures can range from below 40 degrees to above 80 degrees.
The race
What this one is
A 100 mile run on Forest Service Roads through the mountains of Tennessee and North Georgia, starting and finishing at YMCA Camp Ocoee in Ocoee, Tennessee. The course is all forest service road, but it carries a lot of climbing: the race calls it a rollercoaster of elevation that is all runnable. It is organized by Project 42 Running.
Getting in
Getting in
Entry, lottery and what the race asks of you before race day.
Crews are only allowed at aid stations designated for crews in the current year's participant guide. Crews must follow aid station personnel's instructions and stay within a 200-yard radius of the aid station while attending to their runner. Crews, friends and family may accompany a runner from mile 50.8 to the finish, but may only pick a runner up or swap pacers at crew-accessible aid stations. Runners may not accept aid from crew or spectators between crew-accessible aid stations. Crews must not park so as to block traffic, access to the trail or an aid station, or other parked cars; vehicles are towed at the owner's expense. Bicycles are allowed to reach crew-accessible aid stations but may not be used to pace a runner. No dogs or other pets and no smoking at aid stations. Crews who do not follow the crew driving directions risk their runner's disqualification.

Pacer rules
One pacer at a time, starting at mile 50.8. Pacer changes can only be made at aid stations with crew access. Pacers must be at least 18 (exceptions by asking the race director in advance), pick up a pacer number and sign a release form, and enter and leave each aid station with their runner. Pacers may not carry water, food, flashlights, shoes, clothing or other supplies for their runner. Muling is forbidden.

Drop bag rules
One drop bag per aid station. Bags must fit in a 6x8 opening and be no longer than 16 inches. No paper bags or shoe boxes, no perishable items, no glass bottles, no valuables. Pacers are not allowed drop bags. Warm clothing and an extra flashlight are strongly recommended for the night aid stations.

What it looks like out there
Somebody has been out there with a camera
the tables say the climb is long. these say what long feels like.
Nobody has been out there with a camera or a microphone yet. A gap means nobody has found it, not that it is not out there. Seen a course preview or a film of this one? Send us the link.

What you know
every one of these is read by a person before it changes anything
Ran this race? Tell the next runner what you know.
Nobody sees it until we have read it. No account, no sign-in.
See something wrong or out of date? Suggest an edit.
This changes nothing on the page on its own. Somebody checks it against the race first.
Seen a course preview or a film of this one? Send it over.
Somebody watches it before it goes anywhere near this page. What we are after is footage of this course, on the ground. If it would be just as true of any other race, it is not this.
Have the GPX? Send us the link.
We want the address of the file the race publishes, not the file. We download it from there so the page can say where the line came from.
Are you the race director? Get in touch and we'll make it right.
We read every one of these and we write back. Every fact here carries the source it came from, and the way a wrong one gets fixed is a person checking it against what you tell us.
Where this came from.
Every fact on this page records its source and when we last checked it: 44 sources for this race. Hover a source link to read the sentence it came from.
36% of what we track for a course is filled in. The rest says "not checked yet" rather than guessing.
Ultras change. We will tell you when this one does.
Cutoffs move, races get postponed, lotteries open and close. We read the race's own sources and record where every fact came from. Put your email in and we will send you what changed, and where we read it.
No account, and nothing to cancel.
What happens to your email. Nothing else. I do not sell it, and I will not send you anything except this race changing. One click gets you out.
I keep this catalog because the information is scattered and hard to trust. Telling you when it moves is the same job.
