Starts at dawn in Fångåmon and finishes in Ottsjö, passing Ottsjö and its drop bag zone at 51.5 km. Runners who finish within 20 hours qualify for the lottery where the Western States runners are selected.

Joins the classic Fjällmaraton trail over Ottfjället, then Hållfjället, Grofjället and Välliste on the way back to Ottsjö.
