A 12 hour timed loop run at Valley Falls State Park near Fairmont, West Virginia. Gravel service roads, single track, streams, rocky climbs and rolling trail, past the falls. Only full laps count towards your total distance.
Each loop climbs 750 feet. The trail mixes gravel service roads, single track trails, streams, rocky climbs and rolling trails, and some uphill climbs can get muddy. The loop runs clockwise in odd years and counterclockwise in even years; 2027 runs clockwise.
A 6 hour or 12 hour timed loop run at Valley Falls State Park near Fairmont, West Virginia, held in May to benefit the Innocent Lives Foundation. Runners repeat a loop of gravel service roads, single track, streams and rocky climbs past the falls, and only full laps count. Two aid stations sit at the start/finish and the halfway point, and runners are encouraged to set up their own aid stations.
