Two loops of the same figure-8-style course as the 50K, with a 7:15 AM start. You have 8 hours and 45 minutes to finish, and the 4 pm overall cut-off applies. Added in 2025.
Each loop is about 10 miles with about 1,000 ft of climbing. The loop starts flatter and faster on the South Plateau, Firetower and the Family Bike Trail, then drops off the plateau through Logan-Keith and up the Sinks trail back to the pavilion.
A grassroots trail race at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama, run by the Huntsville Track Club. The original 50K is three loops of a figure-8-style course starting and finishing at the pavilion, and there are 20 Mile and 10 Mile options for runners who want fewer loops. Cupless, with a fully stocked aid station at the pavilion every loop.
