An out-and-back from Cispus Learning Center up to the historic Burley Mountain Fire Lookout and back, 13.82 measured miles with 4,356 ft of gain / 4,238 ft of loss. Runs the same day as the 50K. A beginner-friendly introduction to mountain racing with a leisurely 9-hour cutoff.
CONFLICT, not resolved: this course is called '15 Mile Fun Run' in the URL slug, the UltraSignup listing, the RaceRaves/Ahotu listings and this brief's own framing, but 'Dark Divide 14 Mile Fun Run' repeatedly in the wonderlandrunning.com page body and its downloadable PDFs' filenames, while the course GPX and course-sections document both measure the route at 13.82 miles. All three numbers (15, 14, 13.82) appear on official race-controlled sources; distance_miles uses the measured 13.82 mi and published_distance_value uses '15' per the race's own current top-level branding (URL slug + UltraSignup listing name), but the '14 Mile' wording is at least as prominent on the race's own page and is not being overridden, only noted. Separately, the linked 'Aid Stations 2026' PDF for this course is headed 'Dark Divide 50K Trail Run' and dated 'Saturday, September 6, 2025' (a full year off and the wrong race name) -- almost certainly an un-updated template left over from a prior year. Its station list, per-leg mileage/elevation and 9-hour cutoff total are used because they match the live 2026 page's own prose ('9 hours to finish') and the course GPX/course-sections document exactly; its date and race-name header are not used for anything.
A wilderness trail-race weekend (100 Mile, 100K, 50K, 15 Mile) through the 70,000+ acre Dark Divide Roadless Area in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, based at the Cispus Learning Center near Randle, Washington. The 100 Miler is a Hardrock 100 qualifier.
Wonderland Running founder Sean Harrasser has run the race since its start; a 2026 Facebook post from the organizer calls the 2026 edition "year six," placing the first edition in 2021. The race is dedicated in part to the memory of five-time Hardrock finisher Mike "Bushwhacker" Burke.

Nobody sees it until we have read it. No account, no sign-in.
This changes nothing on the page on its own. Somebody checks it against the race first.
We want the address of the file the race publishes, not the file. We download it from there so the page can say where the line came from.
We read every one of these and we write back. Every fact here carries the source it came from, and the way a wrong one gets fixed is a person checking it against what you tell us.
