A two-mile loop at Camp Wokanda, then out to Green Valley and back to The Lodge. All runners must finish by 5 p.m. Saturday. The race lists a total elevation gain of 2,815.

The race

What this one is

A weekend of trail races on the Illinois River bluff at Camp Wokanda, just outside Peoria, Illinois. Distances run from a 4 mile fun run and a half marathon up to a 50K, 50 miles and 100 miles, all out of The Lodge. Most of the trail is wooded singletrack with steep short climbs the race calls shark bite hills, and July in Illinois means heat.
