Free. You can start with nothing.
Out and back on the Badger Mountain access road, as many times as you can before the course closes Saturday at 4:00 pm. Three start times to choose from. Awards go by laps completed, from 13 laps up to 100.
Each ascent is 292 feet (89 meters) of gain on a 0.35 mile (one-way) access road with a 16% average grade. Dirt and rocks, uneven in places. Occasional vehicles on the road; the course crosses Skyline Trail and runners yield to trail users. No sleeping: anyone who admits to or is seen sleeping is recorded as finished and no further laps count. Participants must cross the turnaround lines at the top and bottom for a lap to count. Partial laps do not count and the final lap must be finished before the course closes. Once you leave the parking area you are done.
A hill-repeat event on the west side of Badger Mountain in Richland, Washington. You go up and down a 0.35 mile access road as many times as you can before the course closes Saturday afternoon, starting at one of three set times. Finisher awards go by lap count, and 100 laps matches the height of Mt. Everest.

Nobody has been out there with a camera or a microphone yet. A gap means nobody has found it, not that it is not out there. Seen a course preview or a film of this one? Send us the link.
Nobody sees it until we have read it. No account, no sign-in.
This changes nothing on the page on its own. Somebody checks it against the race first.
Nobody sees it until we have read it. No account, no sign-in.
Somebody watches it before it goes anywhere near this page. What we are after is footage of this course, on the ground. If it would be just as true of any other race, it is not this.
We want the address of the file the race publishes, not the file. We download it from there so the page can say where the line came from.
We read every one of these and we write back. Every fact here carries the source it came from, and the way a wrong one gets fixed is a person checking it against what you tell us.
Cutoffs move, races get postponed, lotteries open and close. We read the race's own sources and record where every fact came from. Put your email in and we will send you what changed, and where we read it.
No account, and nothing to cancel.
What happens to your email. Nothing else. I do not sell it, and I will not send you anything except this race changing. One click gets you out.
I keep this catalog because the information is scattered and hard to trust. Telling you when it moves is the same job.
