Where it goes out and back

One trip out the Chubb trail along the Meramec River to the turnaround at Lone Elk Park and back to West Tyson County Park. If the Meramec River is well above flood stage, the race is rerouted to a high-water route.

The 50K runs this same course twice.

What this one is

Trail races on the Chubb trail along the Meramec River, starting at West Tyson County Park in Eureka, Missouri. The route runs gravel service road, mostly dirt trail and a mile-long series of climbs, with no stream crossings and two railroad crossings. There is a 50K, a 25K, a 25K ruck and an 8M, and the race is for newer trail runners through experienced ones.

The 8 mile race began in 2023 to welcome new trail runners.
