A 12 or 24 hour endurance run on a 3.68 mile loop at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge in Copper Harbor, Michigan. The loop winds through the Back 9 trails, the lodge golf course, hills, mud and forest, with views of Brockway Mountain, inside the Keweenaw Dark Sky Park. Go solo, or in a team of 2 or 4 with one runner on the course at a time. There are no finish cutoffs: your distance is the mileage you have when you stop. The field is limited to 40.
The idea for a race at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge came up among lodge team members for 2020, and the 12/24 hour format was chosen because it was new to the area. The first edition was run in 2021. Mid May was picked as the date because the lodge opens for the season then.
