Single loop entirely within Oracle State Park, almost all singletrack, constantly rolling.

No elevation gain figure for the 12K is printed on its profile. Guide: 'Nothing within Oracle State Park is flat.' Text puts the first aid station '2.1 miles into the race' (restroom note) and the cutoff table says 2.3m.

What this one is

Mostly singletrack through and around Oracle State Park, on remote sections of the Arizona Trail north of Tucson. A 50 Mile, 50K, half marathon and 12K, all rolling, with time cutoffs on every distance. The Arizona Trail Association benefits.

Runners and hikers are asked to average about 18 minutes per mile or faster. Anyone who misses an aid station cutoff is pulled and given a ride to the finish. Slower walkers are pointed to the 5K. runazt.org
