Updates and improvements to NavRun

October 14, 2026

v2026.10.14.2

A run that syncs late puts your week back.

If you carried a long run to a later day and then the original run syncs in, the long run is credited on its own day and the later day goes back to its easy run.

v2026.10.14.1

A long run that is still open can move to today or tomorrow.

When a long run, or a tempo, interval or hill session, did not happen, Today offers to put it on today or tomorrow in place of that day's easy run. Your week never gets longer than it was planned. Take all of it, take a shorter version, or let it go. Letting it go changes nothing else.

v2026.10.13.3

Your weekly plan builds even when your weekly minimum is higher than your recent weeks support.

The week stays where your recent running says it should, and your minimum stays on file.

v2026.10.13.2

Race week keeps your easy runs.

Some race weeks came out with every day before the race as rest. Those days now get the short, easy shakeout runs your taper calls for, and race day stays as it was. The day after the race stays a rest day.

v2026.10.13.1

Backing out of a note to Ike no longer leaves the keyboard in the way.

Tapping Cancel on a note now puts the keyboard away while you decide, so a tap to keep writing lands where you aimed it. The keyboard comes back when you keep the note.

v2026.10.12.2

The "Tell Ike something" button on the You card shows its words.

The label was the same cream as the button, so the button looked empty. It is now dark on cream in light and dark. Backing out of a note and keeping it also puts the cursor back in the box.

v2026.10.12.1

You can write to me from the app.

In Profile, under Help, "How's NavRun going?" opens a note to Ike. Type what is off, send it, and it reaches me with your app version and phone model so a bug is easier to find. If it needs an answer, I reply to the email on your account. "Leave a review" sits right under it and opens the App Store's own review box. Every now and then the You tab shows a small card with the same invitation below Records. Close it and it stays gone for a long while. Needs the next app build.

v2026.10.9.1

On race morning, the Before the start gear list sits at the top.

It now comes before your first stop and the whole day, so you check your gear first.

v2026.10.8.3

The runner's saved hub keeps its cutoff line when signal drops.

With no signal, the cutoff line under your next stop ("About 25 minutes of room.") stays on screen, greyed, with the time it was saved.

v2026.10.8.2

The crew hub no longer shows a clipped empty card above the "you can send" line.

When the crew link cannot send, the line now sits at the end of the page instead of pinned over the Where you can meet card.

v2026.10.8.1

The cutoff line on a saved crew stop is greyed and says when it was saved.

With no signal, the Cutoff row on a crew stop ("Plenty of room.") now greys like the rest of the saved page and carries its "as of" time.

The saved live room also shows the "As of" time after the runner's seen line, in the same muted grey.

v2026.10.7.2

The crew's whole day screen catches up when signal returns.

On the iPhone, the whole day screen now drops "Saved at" and the "as of" tags within seconds of signal coming back. On the runner's offline screen, "Sends when you have signal" no longer sits on top of the bottom of the whole day card.

v2026.10.7.1

Saved crew pages stay quiet until the copy is old.

On a saved crew page the line "These update when you have signal again." now shows only once a time on the page is an hour or more old, not the minute the page is saved.
